MCS Gets Personal

Published Thursday 30th of June 2011 02:42:29 PM

Mrs Neilson, a current Merchiston parent, has generously donated a personal number plate owned by her family. The plate, S36 MCS, was first assigned to a BMW and then a Mercedes A Class car before finding a permanent home with Merchiston's Volkswagen Transporter.

Her son, who is in the IV Form, is pictured handing over the plate to our driver and transport manager Tony Catlin.

The VW is currently employed ferrying pupils into School from East Lothian, to the Tennis Academy in Stirling, and for many other off campus activities.

Tony has been with Merchiston since 2008. He is a retired Police Sergeant, who served 30 years with Lothian and Borders Police.
