RNLI Visit Chafyn Grove

Year 3 were very lucky to have a visit from an RNLI volunteer. She told us all about the work of the RNLI lifeboats and lifeguards and emphasized the importance of respecting the water. She educated us about the different types of lifeboats and how volunteers give up their time to help save lives at sea. She also told us how she had once been rescued by the Guernsey lifeboat crew 60 years ago!
