Published Friday 9th of December 2016 11:30:52 AM

"Twas the night before Christmas, when all thro' the house Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse; The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there;" Year 1 have enthusiastically rehearsed for their performance of “The Night before Christmas", working tirelessly to perfect dances, songs and lines. This week the audience were transported to that most magical of times - Christmas Eve. The children thrilled their listeners with their clear retelling of the famous Christmas poem. Their joyful singing, animated acting and dancing helped to awaken those feelings of anticipation associated with this very special night. The delightful show left everyone feeling as though Christmas had certainly arrived!
