Commenting on the appointment, Mrs Clarke says, “The move to King Edward’s is an exciting one for me. I relish the challenges it brings and welcome the opportunity to apply my skills and experience in a new environment. While there are some clear similarities between King Edward’s and my previous school, I love the fact that King Edward’s offers pupils a choice of academic pathways ie A-level or IB. I’m also attracted to the diversity and international nature of the student population. In addition, the genuine commitment to the strong bursary tradition which is the cornerstone to the school’s evolution represents a progressive culture and one to which I wholeheartedly subscribe.” Mrs Clarke will be living on the school site with her husband and son who is a pupil at King Edward’s.
