Astonishing Artefacts on Display at Bedford Prep School

Bedford Prep School recently welcomed back Mr Graham Woollard from the company ‘Portals to the Past’, who came to give Year 6 pupils his fascinating talk on ‘Rocks and Fossils’. Aided by his army of dino-models and incredible fossilised artefacts, Mr Woollard inspired understanding and interest from the boys. Mr Woollard’s ‘Rocks and Fossils’ talk is always very well received by boys, but this year’s visit proved extra-special as he kindly donated a fossilised tree trunk, a plesiosaur humerus bone and a woolly rhino (coelodonta antiquitatis) thigh bone to the school. The school plans to hold an exhibition of these new fascinating artefacts alongside the collection it already owns so that all pupils can take a look at these extraordinary artefacts from the past.
