Team GB and Top Grades for Cobham Hall Girl

Cobham Hall had cause to celebrate as GCSE results were published. For one student in particular, her top grades were the pinnacle of a successful summer. At Cobham Hall, we value an all-round education, and believe that students who feel happy and supported in their environment go on to achieve their best. Lilly Gibbs, 16, is evidence of that. In the midst of her GCSE examinations, she was selected to represent Team Great Britain at the European Championships in Glasgow, as well as achieving selection for 2019. Lilly went on to compete in August in the Ladies 16-19 Triathlon event, and stormed to a fantastic 7th place finish – an excellent result for her first European Championship. She was thrilled to cap off her summer by finding out she had scored A* and A grades in all but one subject. She joins 91% of Cobham Hall girls who achieved at least 5 A*-C grades. We’re also delighted that international students studying on our one year course, where they can take at least five GCSE whilst studying English as a Foreign Language, achieved excellent results, with one girl earning five A*/A grades and two B grades, and another earning five B Grades.
