Bedford Prep School’s U11 Hockey Team County Cup Champions

Bedford Prep School’s U11 hockey boys took their supporters on a roller-coaster ride on Monday 4 February when they faced Bedford Modern School in the County Cup. Despite playing some superb hockey the seven-a-side squad just could not find the net in normal time, but neither could Bedford Modern, causing the game to go to sudden death penalties – twice! However, in the nail-biting second set of penalties, our boys kept their cool to win 4-3. As the County Cup victors, Bedford Prep School’s U11 team now head to the regional finals in early March where they may well meet Bedford Modern once again as they also qualified as the runners up.
