Stepping out for Cystic Fibrosis
Published by Sibford School on Tuesday 9th of April 2019
Two Sixth Form students from Sibford School successfully walked 102 miles along the Cotswold Way, from Bath to Chipping Campden in a bid to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. Henry and Dominic completed their walk at 10pm on Sunday 7 April after setting off from Bath Abbey in the early hours of Saturday morning. Dominic said 'The walk was great but very tough. We did end up having to sleep, but only for 2 hours from 5am until 7am. In total we walked for 37 hours.' Toby Spence, Head Teacher said 'This is a brilliant achievement. I never doubted them, what a remarkable feat of endurance!' So far the pair have raised a huge £5,680. You can still support them here: https://www.justgiving.com/dom-mills.
