Dauntsey’s Roll of Honour for finishers of the infamous Devizes to Westminster Canoe Race, is now close to 400. Known as ‘The Canoeist’s Everest, the race involves paddling the 125 miles between Devizes to Westminster in three and a half days over the Easter weekend - the equivalent of a marathon a day. Dauntsey’s has been entering teams in the DW since 1969. Sam Moore, Head of Adventure Education, said: “We were thrilled to add a further twenty names to our Finishers Board today. Each and every name represents a great adventure and a huge achievement in completing the DW – congratulations to everyone whose name is recorded on this Roll of Honour.” ENDS
