Kingham Hill announces Careers Day

Published Tuesday 15th of November 2011 09:44:49 AM

In conjunction with our alumni we are hosting a special Careers Day for pupils in Year 10 and above on 24 November.

Making decisions about a future career and selecting the right path to arrive there, is notoriously challenging for 15, 16 & 17yr-olds. The current employment market and the anticipated hike in university tuition fees adds further complication.

Kingham Hill has pulled out all the stops to offer the best possible helping hand. The Careers day programme will include presentations, workshops, CV clinics and much more. Kim Raccio, Assistant Head Academic, has put the plan together with the enthusiastic assistance of our alumni. Many past students, who have much to contribute from their working and professional lives, will contribute in a variety of ways. The following is just a sample of the experience and expertise that will be available to our pupils on the day: social work, accounting, engineering, project management, RAF (pilot), company director, policing, banking, probation, prison service, editing and law.
