In Science, Year 3 have been looking closely at skeletons and bones – including an alligator jaw, a cow’s scapula and lots more!Year 4 have been studying each stage of digestion used to break down a flapjack, including adding stomach acid, enzymes from the pancreas, saliva and stomach.
Years 5 and 6 have been dissecting flowers and leaves to more closely discover how plants reproduce.
In Science club, children dissected a Rainbow Trout. It took a while to find the brain, which comprised four small nodes arranged linearly. Well done to those who identified the liver, intestines, internal gills and air bladder!
