ISI Inspection 2019

"The quality of pupils' academic and other achievements is excellent."

"Children make consistently good progress across all areas of the curriculum in the early years foundation stage (EYFS) as they lay down strong foundations for future learning, due to the highly effective planning and assessment that ensures provision is closely matched to children's needs and interests. As a result, all children achieve, and the majority exceed, the early learning goals by the end of the foundation stage. Throughout the school, this same level of progress and attainment is evident due to the high expectations and very solid grounding in the core skills pupils need to engage with the junior curriculum."

The quote above is just one of the many positive comments that was made by the inspection team following their visit in June 2019. The scope of the report addressed six aspects of school life and in each category the school was classed as excellent.

Headmistress Mrs P. Wilson MBE, MSc commented: "The whole school community was delighted with these reports. But we will not be complacent and will continue to strive to ensure that we remain one of the top preparatory schools in the country."
