Word From The Head

The Peterborough School is the City's only independent day school for boys and girls from Nursery to Sixth Form.

Small class sizes, excellent pastoral support and high levels of individual attention are key to the many and varied successes which are achieved. In the classroom, lifelong learning skills are developed and pupils of all ages have the opportunity to be stretched through the challenging extended curriculum. Beyond the classroom, children are offered a wide range of opportunities and experiences to develop their self-confidence, passion for learning and creativity and all are encouraged to participate, whatever their standard.

The ethos of the School, focusing on kindness, courtesy and tolerance to all, means that behaviour and manners are excellent and children have the ability to exploit fully their natural potential within a happy, caring and friendly community.

Since the school became co-educational throughout, it continues to expand and develop, now offering a bespoke Sixth Form Centre, new Senior Library and an established Forest School programme in Prep.

Visitors are welcome all year round by appointment but our Open Days on Saturdays in October and May offer excellent opportunities for families to visit less formally to find out what the School offers. For further information call the School on 01733 343357 or visit www.thepeterboroughschool.co.uk.

I look forward to meeting you.
