Mastering the Double Bass

It's bigger than her! Lucy has done so very well, playing the biggest instrument at Berkhampstead brilliantly, and having done so since Year 3. Now in Year 6, and recently selected to play Double Bass in the National Children's Orchestra, she now has the opportunity to play with some of the best musicians on the country. Lucy is going to be busy, she will not only be practising at school, playing in our Strings ensemble, preparing for her grade 6 exam and our Spring Concert in Cheltenham's fabulous Pittville Pump Room, but will travel to Birmingham for rehearsals.
