JRPC Success for Emily

EMILY Yap is one of 10 Somerset hockey players who have been selected to attend the Under 15 Junior Regional Perfor�mance Centre for Hockey. This is a train�ing centre for players who have success�fully been selected from a County Junior Academy Centre and consists of players from all over the West of England.

JRPC is one step from involvement in the National Age Group squads. Training consists of six lots of 6 hour training sessions over the summer holidays held at Exeter University. Players for the Na�tional Age Group Squads will be selected in the Autumn from those players attend�ing JRPC training and competitions.
