This year's A2/AS level results were announced on 15th August, with Gresham's obtaining excellent results across the board. A number of students achieved outstanding results, just a few of whom are mentioned below:

Frederick Harcourt achieved three A* grades and one A grade, whilst Callum Cooke secured one A* grade and three A grades; he will be studying Fine Art at Oxford University from September. Holly Hunt received three A* grades and will be going to York University to read English. Pandora Layton received two A* grades and one A grade and will be studying Human, Social and Political Sciences at Trinity College, Cambridge at Cambridge University. Holly Farnell obtained one A* grade and two A grades as well as a B grade in Music.

Kunz Chow and Jason Xu both received four A* grades; Kunz will be studying Engineering at Oxford, whilst Jason is going on to do Mathematics at Imperial College London. Edward Ou obtained three A* grades and one A grade; he will be studying Chemistry at Imperial College London. PPK (Tanadet Pipatpolkai) also obtained three A* grades and one A; he will be studying Biochemistry at Oxford.

Overall 75.8% of all A-levels taken were graded A*-B. Several departments have achieved outstanding results, and A*-B grades were obtained by 100% of candidates in the following subjects: Art, Economics, German, Japanese, Latin, and Further Mathematics.

The success of our Sixth Form students is reflected in the high number progressing to prestigious universities both in the UK and overseas.

In congratulating his pupils, the Headmaster Philip John said that he was delighted with this year's A-level results which reflected a great deal of hard work and commitment from both students and staff. In particular the 18.9% A* grades and 75.8% of grades at A*-B was most commendable given the reported fall in top grades nationally this year.
