Caterham School A Level Results

Published on isbi School News dated Tuesday 3rd of September 2013

Students at Caterham School were able to celebrate their A Level results on 15 August as many achieved a 'personal best'. It was notable that fifty four students achieved a minimum of 3 at grade A.

A* 22%
A 40%
A* - A 62%
A* - B 88%
A* - C 97%

Even though there is strong competition for university places and with a couple of students awaiting a final decision, it is expected that over 90% will have been accepted by their first choice university. If this is correct this will mean that, once again, over 85% will be going to a top tier university.

Headmaster Julian Thomas said: 'I am so pleased for all these students. They have made a wonderful contribution to the School and community in such a wide variety of ways. I think that they have been the embodiment of the School's aim to provide an outstanding holistic education, with so many achieving their all-round potential. I shall always remember this year group for their talent, boundless enthusiasm and sense of fun. I am thrilled that so many have achieved their 'personal best' and almost all have gained a place at a university of their choice. I wish them all well in the next stage of their life journeys and look forward to hearing all about their endeavours in the future.'
