St Benedict's School achieves Bronze Investors in People Award

St Benedict's School, Ealing has achieved Bronze Investors in People (IIP) recognition. The Executive Summary Report concludes with the words: 'If the spirit of Investors in People lives anywhere, it lives at a lovely school in the Borough of Ealing called St Benedict's staffed by some equally super people.'

IIP is all about how the School promotes and encourages the personal development of its staff. The Bronze Award is a step up for St Benedict's which was applying for re-accreditation, having achieved the standard award twice since December 2004. Out of a total of 23,874 IIP organisations nationwide, only 700 (2.76%) achieved Bronze Level.

Norman Hull, Director of CPD, who was responsible for co-ordinating the School's application said, 'I am very pleased the assessor has recognised the progress that St Benedict's has made since the last assessment. We have been encouraged to go for Silver status next time.'
