Tettenhall College Netball Teams Triumph

Published Wednesday 2nd of April 2014 12:11:29 PM

For a small school like Tettenhall College to produce not one but three winning netball teams is 'An amazing feat and demonstration of a wonderful collaboration of twenty two loyal players and their teacher Mrs Taylor', according to Tettenhall College's new Headmaster David Williams. It's been a successful season again at the well-known Tettenhall school with our competitive teams playing regularly in the city 'friendly' leagues. After twenty-four league matches, three tournaments, a senior tour and a junior residential weekend the girls have done it again by being 'top' of the table in their age groups. In all three finals the opposition, according to Mrs Taylor Head of Girls Sports at Tettenhall College, 'Showed great play throughout'. However, in this case Tettenhall College were the stronger and came out as overall winners in all three age groups by demonstrating excellent team spirit. A brilliant end to a fantastic season with three powerful wins by TC's Under 13, Under 15 and Under 18 teams.
