Little Belmont Celebrates Chinese New Year

Children at Belmont School welcomed the Year of the Rabbit with a day of Oriental fun. The school celebrated the Chinese New Year festival on Friday February 4.

Pupils made their own dragon masks and tasted Chinese food in the school restaurant. They also made lucky red envelopes with a treat inside to take home, and the day ended with the pupils dancing around the playground
wearing their mask .
