School Council Elections

Belmont Preparatory School has just recently held the school council elections.

In preparation for this, pupils learnt about school councils, the process of voting and the qualities of a good class councillor in P.S.C.H.E. Pupils that self nominated or were nominated by others prepared posters and speeches to demonstrate their ideas and suitability for the position.

Helen Skrine, Headmistress of Belmont, commented, "The pupils took this process very seriously. I am pleased to say that the votes have now been counted and new councillors have now been elected."
