French Bake-Off at The Unicorn School

Today the pupils of The Unicorn School produced a feast of delicacies in their French Bake-Off. Gourmet delights included a French Breakfast Bacon Croissant, Chocolate Gateau, Fruit tarts and an assortment of crepes.

The Bake-off not only exercised the children's cookery skills, but also their literacy and ICT skills. Each pupil developed their own recipe inspired by traditional French dishes, and designed their own recipe and instruction cards which they produced on the school computers.

The result was a banquet of delicious treats, which were judged by two chief tasters from the school office! And the result? "C'est magnifique!"
