FUTURE PLANS: Study architecture or graphic design DREAM JOB: To become a film actress SUBJECTS AT ACG SENIOR COLLEGE: Maths, Sociology, Painting, English Literature Commuting for an hour each way to school from Pukekohe would seem like a big deal to a lot of people. For me it’s almost a good thing, I can use the time for homework or just to relax. It also means I get to attend ACG Senior College and that makes it 100% worth it. I have only been doing the commute and attending Senior for one term, but I already feel like a part of the Senior community. This has really been helped with the support from the teachers – they’ve even accommodated a late subject change, and now I love that class! So far one of the best things about Senior is that students are here because they actually want to be, they really work hard to achieve their best. This also means that you have constant encouragement from your friends to do your best. It’s very motivating. The atmosphere here is awesome. It feels more like a university than a school and I love not being treated like a child. The independence and taste of the real world is so cool. We’re also allowed out into that real world, when we want, which is perfect because Senior College is located in the centre of Auckland – everything is right at your fingertips! I love spending free periods in the Auckland Library or picking up a salad from Revive and heading to Albert Park or Aotea Square for lunch.
