A taste of Lacrosse for local schools

Godolphin were delighted to welcome girls and staff from St Francis School, Pitton Primary and Winterslow Primary schools to take part in a Lacrosse outreach event on Wednesday. The Year 5 girls were put through their paces by the Godolphin PE staff who managed to teach enough skills to enable the girls to play a match at the end of the session! The girls demonstrated excellent stamina and made real progress with their stick handling, passing, catching, cradling and shooting skills. Parents came along to watch the match and everyone enjoyed a delicious tea to round off the afternoon.
