LRGS are Lancashire Champions

Despite the onset of autumn, two Lancashire cricket cup finals were played this term. LRGS managed to secure two victories against Bolton School. The U13s won by 9 wickets with almost 3 overs to spare. Alex Thomas capped a man of the match performance by lifting a second straight six to win the match. The final score was LRGS 142 for 1, Bolton 141 for 7.

The U12s won their final in dramatic fashion, making 97 for 6 in 25 overs. In response, Bolton School made 95 all out. The win carries extra significance as LRGS will now represent the county in next year's national competition.
