Denstone College A Level results 2022

Published by Denstone College on Wednesday 24th of August 2022

Denstone College pupils have once again demonstrated their academic fortitude resulting in a fantastic set of A-Level results. Through turbulent times, it is clear that inspirational teaching, combined with hard working pupils will always deliver results and the 2022 cohort are no exception. Almost half of all grades have been awarded A* or A grade and many pupils have secured the very highest outcomes in all of their subjects. However, it is the personal stories which have shone through so many of these results, and a string of top grades without development in other areas of school life would be hollow grades – an alien concept to Denstonians. Over the coming days, pupils will secure their final choices for University places, Apprenticeship offers and employment opportunities with career and subject choices ranging from Accountancy to Zoology with everything in between. No two Denstonians are alike.

Head, Lotte Tulloch, says, “this is a cohort of pupils who have simply excelled. I am incredibly proud of their achievements in and out of the classroom and delivered with such character and spirit. These pupils will leave Denstone College ready for the next stage of their life and with an academic portfolio demonstrative of their work ethic. They are individuals and must never be labelled a ‘covid generation’ or have any negativity towards educational disruption; indeed, it has made them stronger and better prepared for the life ahead. I am grateful to the outstanding teaching staff here at Denstone College who continue to challenge, inspire and care deeply for our pupils”.
