CCF Map and Compass Training Day at Ashdown Forest - January 2012

The CCF took part in a navigation training day in the Ashdown Forest. The purpose of this day was to prepare for forthcoming Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award Expeditions taking place later in the year. Those cadets involved were from Year 10, including cadets from our affiliation with Coloma school. The day involved route planning and navigating various routes around the Ashdown Forest using a map and Silva compass.
