Royal Russell School Celebrates Chinese New Year

We celebrated Chinese New Year in the Library where our pupils entertained us with brief talks about Chinese New Year customs and traditions in general and about Chinese dragons and the dragon dance in particular.

There were musical interludes provided by a gifted pianist and a band. At the end of proceedings everyone enjoyed sampling Chinese treats, including home-made New Year cake, Chinese-style jelly, fortune cookies and much else besides. A very happy occasion!
