Swimming For A Good Cause

On Friday 10th March, some of our pupils headed over to John Lyon to participate in a 12-hour swimathon.  It was a wonderful opportunity for the pupils to take part in a charity initiative alongside the senior school pupils, and a huge congratulations to them for completing 413 lengths between them. 

Thanks to the amazing efforts of all the swimmers, including staff over 15,000 laps were swum, which equates to over 240 miles covered and a total of £748 raised.  An amazing accomplishment, and a job well done to everyone for swimming their hearts out!
