US University Application Success

We hear from two of our US applicants below:
Bolatito, Stanford University
After three years of working with Dr Sutton, I was recently admitted to Stanford University to study human biology, public policy and ethics on the pre-medicine track. I’ll be attending in September as part of the class of 2027. I’ve wanted to go to university in the US since I was a child, and it wouldn’t have been possible without Dr Sutton. I chose Stanford because of its incredible medical school and research opportunities, the ability to study multiple disciplines at once, and the sunny California weather!
Ines, Yale University
I had my heart set on Yale ever since I visited the campus in year 10. There were so many things about the school that excited me (which were not to do with Gilmore Girls!): their community-oriented ethos, residential college system, and volunteering opportunities in particular. I think Yale will give me great scope to pursue my interests in classics and cognitive science and my love for music! Yale has a simply amazing arts scene, which I’d say definitely tipped it over the edge for me. Throughout the application process, Dr Sutton met with me multiple times and really helped me to get a kickstart on my essays! I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone at City who has helped me in the last year, I’ll always be really grateful.
