Equestrian starlet riding high!

One of the country's most promising young equestrians helped Team GB to third place at a prestigious European competition.

Erin Williams and her pony Danny Boy were part of the national team which took bronze at France's premier dressage show, the Concours de Dressage International.

Laurence McKell, Mount St Mary's head teacher, said: 'Everyone is very proud of her and we hope she and Danny Boy have done enough to secure their place on the Team GB of four riders at the European Championships. This is the highest level possible for pony dressage riders and if Erin is successful this year, she will be the youngest ever to ride on the Great Britain pony team.'
