Manners maketh man, and woman; a week of etiquette

Do you always hold the door open or write a thank you letter? When should you use chi and when ti? Would your table manners stand up to scrutiny at the top restaurants?

Llandovery College ran a week of 'Etiquette' themed lessons and activities, including sporting behaviour, deportment, table manners and a Lower 6th 'finishing school'.

Mrs Hunt said 'Education here is about developing the whole child, equipping our pupils with the life skills to behave in all situations. We had some fun, but there is a serious message here as well, manners matter.'
