Music Galore at Berkhampstead's Informal Concert

Violin, viola and double bass, cornet, flute, drums, piano and clarinet were among the instruments played at our latest Recital. Some children had been learning only since September and kept it simple, others performed grade pieces with feeling and assurance - all 32 children- a quarter those in Years 3-6 played superbly. A delighted audience listened to a wide-ranging selection of pieces performers included small boy, huge trombone and three on a piano stool for a Jamaican Trio. The Recital ended with a the challenging Millenium Piece for flute, double bass and piccolo, composed by our strings specialist.
