Life on the Farm

Last week, our Pre-Prep pupils brought their learning about arable, dairy and livestock farms to life. Mr and Mrs Warnock hosted an absolutely fantastic morning full of fascinating information about life on the farm.

The children explored the milking parlour, visited the calves and expectant mothers, watched the sheep being fed and even had a look inside the farm office. They also met the Highland cows and a grumpy goose! Along the way, they put their classroom learning into practice by identifying the different features of the farm.

The children were buzzing with excitement afterwards and couldn't stop talking about how much they'd enjoyed the morning. A very big heartfelt thank you to Mr and Mrs Warnock for giving us such a memorable, hands-on learning experience. We all had a brilliant time!
