Gavin Sinnott

Dear Parents,

it is with great pleasure that we welcomed Mr Gavin Sinnott and his wife, Mrs Sharon Sinnott to the School this September. They join us with their children and a wonderful dog called Florence.

As ‘Old Barnardistonians’ who taught, met and married here before moving on to work in different schools they are now excited to be back in the School where it all began!

Barnardiston Hall is now benefitting from the experience that both have gained in the intervening years. Both Mr and Mrs Sinnott come to us directly from St Hugh’s, Mr Sinnott filling the role there of Deputy Head / Director of Studies and Mrs Sinnott as Forest School Lead and Head of Art and RE. Mr Sinnott is also an ISI inspector and was recently short-listed for Innovative Teacher of the Year for his work on visible learning.

Mr and Mrs Sinnott look forward to meeting parents new and old and they will be delighted to show you around the School if you are able to visit.
