Welcome to Monkton! As you explore the site, you will see that Monkton pupils work in a beautiful setting with fantastic facilities, but this is only the visible part of our school. The real essence - the culture we’ve fostered, the meaningful relationships, and the heartfelt kindness - can only be truly understood by visiting us at Monkton and experiencing it first-hand.

Be Known: At the heart of our community is a commitment to building meaningful relationships between staff and pupils and our staff devote considerable time and energy to this. This has benefits that extend well beyond the classroom and positive learning dynamic we see across the school; more importantly, each child is personally known and helped to discover more about themselves, their beliefs, values, skills and strengths. We believe that, by being known and understood, our pupils are able to excel in every area of school life.

Be Inspired: Inspiring our pupils takes many forms. It means inspiring a love of learning - both within academic subjects and through our rich co-curricular programme.
