Kingswood Prep School (KPS) is situated in Bath, just a short distance from Kingswood Senior School. Starting from nine-months old in The Garden Nursery, we aim to foster positive attitudes and a ‘can-do’ mindset by encouraging children to explore a balanced and holistic curriculum. Our excellent staff want all of our pupils to feel good about their learning and to be confident about who they are. Considering your Sixth Form options for September 2026? Join us for an informative event to hear about life in Years 12 and 13 at Kingswood, and how our bespoke Sixth Form programme seamlessly combines academic rigour with enrichment opportunities, offering the perfect stepping stone for life beyond secondary education. Take a tour of the site, including our recently refurbished Dixon Sixth Form Centre, with our current sixth formers and hear first hand from the Sixth Form Team about all the opportunities we offer. Students will then have the opportunity to meet with the Heads of Departments for the subjects they are considering for A Level or BTEC.

Join us at our October Open Morning for the opportunity to view the school through the eyes of our pupils as they guide you around our facilities. You are welcome to join us for refreshments with key members of our Academic and Pastoral staff, including the Admissions team, who will be on hand to answer any queries you may have. The event will finish with a talk from our Headmaster and Principal of the Kingswood Foundation, Mr Andrew Gordon-Brown, who will talk about how a Kingswood education can ignite the potential in your child.

Join us at our School In Action Morning for an opportunity to explore the site on a normal working morning and hear first hand from pupils as they tour you around the school. The tour will finish with refreshments and a talk by KPS Head, Mr Mark Brearey, with key members of our Academic and Pastoral staff, including the Admissions Team, who will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
