Craigclowan provides a warm and nurturing environment for boys and girls aged 3 - 13. Set in stunning grounds with magnificent views over Perthshire, the school has a distinguished history and a reputation for the highest standards and expectations.

Our learning environment delivers a modern and distinctive education within a framework of proven traditional values, effectively balancing the best of old and new in education. Particular attention is paid to the transition period as pre-school children start their primary education. Every pupils is encouraged to achieve their all round potential, both academically, on the sports field and in more than 50 extra-curricular activities on offer. These range from skiing, on the school's own dry ski slope, to judo, metafit, bushcraft skills, mountain biking and street dance. There really is something for everyone. This personalised approach lies at the heart of a Craigclowan education, along with the recognition that pupils develop essential life skills. Our outdoor classroom, sports fields and Forest School are in daily use and with small class sizes and a friendly, caring and supportive ethos, staff are able to get to know the children closely and treat them as individuals in all they do.

HM Inspectors from Education Scotland described the school as "a welcoming, caring and stimulating environment for learning". They added that "at all stages, children are articulate and enthusiastic learners" and that "they produce work of a very high standard across different areas of their learning".
In the last nine years, a total of 121 Scholarships have been achieved covering art, music, sport, all-rounder and academics.

Minibuses collect children from a number of areas of Perthshire and Fife and our Breakfast Club is open from 0730. Free after school care is available for all children until 1800. We also operate a number of holiday activity camps throughout the year including multi-activity camps and hockey, cricket and tennis coaching.

I'd be delighted to show you what a Craigclowan education has to offer to your family.
