Welcome From the Head of the Junior School

I hope you find this website an informative and welcoming first glance at our school.

Children are happiest when their school work excites them, when they are recognised for their achievements and supported if needed, when they feel safe, and when they have time to play. At St Lawrence College we take great care to support each child, nurturing them to reach their potential in all aspects of school life as they move through Pre-Prep and into Prep and beyond.

With spacious grounds, wonderful resources and a dedicated staff team we leave no stone unturned to find out what motivates your child, offering them an innovative range of lessons and experiences.

We have high expectations and encourage children to persevere to gain success; we are rewarded with children achieving great things academically, in sports and in the arts. We prepare each child for academic entrance to our Senior School or for the Kent Test, ensuring the very best outcome for your child.

I do hope that you will come and visit us.

This co-ed day and boarding school in Kent is an excellent all-rounder offering a breadth of opportunities that can bring out the best in students with a range of interests and abilities.

Which School Advisor

It’s an excellent choice for parents that want a supportive, friendly school with a caring family feel that put happiness first and does well on the academics.

Muddy Stilettos

...it is apparent how well the staff know its’ pupils and there is a real family-feel throughout the school.

Parent

My children have continued through their school years with respect for others, understanding of different cultures, the ability to hold conversations with different peer groups and with adults. The teachers are always striving for our children to do their best.
