Eleven Students Offered Places at Cambridge or Oxford

Eleven students in the Sixth Form at Caterham School received some very good news on their return from their winter vacations as they discovered that they had been offered places at Oxford or Cambridge universities.

Headmaster Julian Thomas said: 'I am delighted for these students. It is an exceptional achievement to be offered a place at these world class universities. They have worked hard and their success is thoroughly deserved. I am particularly pleased to see that, as usual, our Preparatory School was the starting point for a number of these students. It is also encouraging to see that the subjects that they have chosen cover such a wide spectrum, from Sciences to Classics. The offers received from universities such as Imperial College and University College London augur well for another very successful group of Upper Sixth students.'
