UK Chess Challenge Megafinal

This term, Gresham's Prep School has been one of over two thousand schools taking part in the UK Chess Challenge. In order to qualify for the area megafinal, to be held in Norwich in May, Ross Tolliday (Year 7) had to win all of his first round games and the School is delighted that he managed to stave off his opponents and is able to enter with a score of 21 points.

Ross was awarded a school champion trophy in assembly last week and can now look forward to the next round, playing against other school finalists as Gresham's Prep School's U12 representative.
