For the third time in four years, the Godolphin First Lacrosse team have been crowned U19 National Champions. This is an amazing record and we are extremely proud of the girls said Mrs Samantha Price, Head.

The senior tournament was fiercely contested by both the Godolphin first and second teams and the semi-final was a contest between Godolphin Seconds and Guildford High , with the final being between Godolphin Firsts and Lady Eleanor Holles. Godolphin won in the last minute of the game, coming back from 3-4 down to win 5-4.

Miss Storm Trentham, who has coached all three of the winning teams said, It goes to show that if you have a goal, put in the hard work and make a few sacrifices along the way, you can achieve whatever you put your mind to. I have never seen such outstanding performances from a Godolphin team as I did last Saturday and the composure of the girls in the final, even when 0-2, was incredible. I am extremely proud of the team.

As a result of the tournament, Godolphin is now ranked Number One and Number Three in the country for lacrosse.
