HRH The Duchess of Gloucester Visits Micklefield School, Reigate

The Duchess of Gloucester visited Micklefield School, Reigate on the 13th October 2010 to mark their Centenary.

HRH met children in the Science Laboratory, the newly furnished I.T. Suite and the Art and Design Technology Room.

Children waved union jack flags as HRH made her way outside to officially open the recently installed fitness 'Trim Trail' which was funded by the PTA. After listening to the children sing HRH cut a celebratory cake and unveiled a commemorative plaque.

The Headmistress said 'This was Micklefield's first Royal visit. The Duchess of Gloucester certainly made our final centenary celebration very special indeed'.
