Another unbeaten season for basketball

THE basketball team waited until the final match of the season to secure their biggest winning margin: 100 46 away at Sherborne.

It was a fine all round performance played at a fast pace during which everyone got onto the score sheet. Sherborne were one of the few sides who could match the height in the Taunton team so it was competitive under the boards but the real difference was the efficiency of the Taunton fast break which became more and more effective as the game wore on.

The last two years have been a golden era in Taunton School basketball and the boys should be congratulated for their achievements.

Victories this season were gained over: Richard Huish College, Wellington School (home and away), King's College, Millfield School, Queen's College, West Buckland School (home and away) and Sherborne School.
