Jasmine placed third in Inter-Schools Riding Competition

Jasmine Walker rode in the Millfield Inter-School Show Jumping Competition on Sunday, May 12th.

The fences were well up to height and Jasmine and her pony, Alfie, jumped a clear first round only 12 in the class managed this. The fences went up in the jump off and, although Jasmine and Alfie jumped very well, they had a stop, which pushed them down the rankings.

Jasmine and Alfie were competing again on Saturday 18th May, at the Stonar Inter-School One Day Event.

With 30 riders in her section, Jasmine rode an excellent dressage test and went clear in both the show jumping and cross country to finish on her dressage score of 38.5 an ideal position for an eventer.

Jasmine rode beautifully to be placed third, just 1.5 faults behind the winner on a score of 37 well done, Jasmine!
