Two Baftas for Old Greshamian Olivia Colman

Former Gresham's pupil Olivia Colman won two Baftas for best comedy actress and best supporting actress at the 2013 Bafta television awards. At a star studded ceremony at the Royal Festival Hall, Olivia, who attended Gresham's in the Sixth Form credited Paul Hands, current Head of Drama in her acceptance speech.

Colman has enjoyed much success in television and film recently appearing in Broadchurch and the Academy Award-winning film The Iron Lady with Meryl Streep where Colman appeared as Carol Thatcher. Meryl Streep has described Colman as "divinely gifted".

The School is incredibly proud of her achievements.
