Two Prior Park Students Reach Final of Bath Young Musician Competition

On 6 November, Prior Park pupils Lizzie Daniels in Year 11 and Harriet Garner in U6, will be performing in the final of this year's Bath Young Musician Competition. It is a great achievement by both girls to have made it to the final against such fierce competition and The College is very proud that, with only five places available at the final, two of them will be filled by Prior Park's own pupils.

Lizzie has been having a hugely successful year for music and, as a member of the National Youth Orchestra, has performed in venues including Buckingham Palace and The Royal Albert Hall. At the final, Lizzie will be performing on the violin, although she is also a very accomplished singer. Harriet, who will be singing at the final of the Young Musician, has also enjoyed some great music successes recently, as well as being a key member of The College's Sixth Form, as she is joint Head of Baines House.

We wish both girls the best of luck in November's competition and everyone is looking forward to what will be two wonderful performances.
