Holiday fun in Norfolk!

Two new holiday activity camps have been introduced by Gresham's, Holt. From 18th to 20th April, a residential multi activity camp will offer a mix of sporting, art and language activities to keep children occupied in the holidays and this will be followed in July with the first Britten Music Course.

The Easter multi activity camp, for children aged 8 to 13, offers a choice of activities each day, from climbing and abseiling to Chinese dumpling making, mosaics and cricket. 'There should be something for everyone,' said Course Director Alex Jenkins, 'we have the facilities and the experience to offer a really fun camp here for children, in a beautiful campus close to the coast. Whether it's our local children or those whose families are holidaying in the area, we can keep them busy!' Places for this residential camp are limited, and are £165, fully inclusive.

The Summer music camp is particularly suitable for children hoping for music scholarships to senior schools. In association with the prestigious King's Lynn Festival, Gresham's will offer choral and instrumental workshops and performance advice and the three day residential course will climax in a choral performance at the King's Lynn Festival with the European Union Chamber Orchestra. Nathan Waring, Director of Music at Gresham's Prep School said, 'There are plenty of music courses available for children in the holidays, but we think this is unique given the tie up with the Festival, which we are thrilled about, and because it offers something to musicians who have already reached a good standard but want to take their skills that bit further.' The course is open to children aged 10-13 years.
