Leweston Tops School Performance tables at A- Level

2013's outstanding public examination results achieved by Leweston's Sixth Form pupils have been recognised in the School Performance Tables published by the Department for Education on Thursday 23rd January.The performance tables place Leweston as the TOP school in Dorset and Somerset for the second year running for its A Level performance as measured by the average UCAS points scored per pupil. Leweston's Sixth Formers produced an average UCAS points score of 929.9, the equivalent of well over three A grades per pupil. On another performance measure 37% (the highest percentage) of pupils achieved grades of AAB or above, including at least two of the facilitating subjects recognised by the Russell Group Universities as being the most academically demanding.
