'Show Time' raises massive sum for charity

It was stage smiles and jazz hands all round as pupils and staff from St Benedict's School, Ealing handed over a giant cheque for £7,936.28 to Susannah Fordland from the Cancer Research UK Maggie's Centre.

The money was raised during two performances of 'Show Time', a song and dance extravaganza featuring hits from top musicals and involving a cast of eighty, drawn from pupils, staff and alumnae.

Ms Katie Ravenscroft, Head of Drama at St Benedict's and the organiser of 'Show Time' said, 'I am delighted that the hard work and dedication of all those involved, both performing on stage and helping out backstage, has resulted in such wonderful generosity.'
